I am new to apollo graphql federation. And I want to implement federated graphql using spring boot API. Can anybody suggest a tutorial specific to java and spring boot? or which library I should be using?

Hello,

There are a quite a few blog posts/tutorial talking about it, e.g. on medium. Personally I’d recommend to either go with [Netflix DGS framework](https://netflix.github.io/dgs/) or official [Spring GraphQL](https://docs.spring.io/spring-graphql/docs/current/reference/html/) module (very similar to DGS but doesn’t have all the features yet, e.g. federated resolvers will require more code).

Example integrations:

- [Spring GraphQL Federation Example](https://github.com/apollographql/federation-jvm-spring-example)
- [Netflix DGS Federation Example](https://github.com/Netflix/dgs-federation-example)
- [GraphQL Java Kickstart Federation Example](https://github.com/setchy/graphql-java-kickstart-federation-example)

Am I the only one thats dumb or its really missing? The federation seem to support multiple as follows

[Federation-compatible subgraph implementations - Apollo GraphQL Docs](https://www.apollographql.com/docs/federation/building-supergraphs/supported-subgraphs/)

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/apollographql/original/2X/e/e62418a74d60a8b9756cbbc9bf336dbf3e8138b1.png)

But the examples show only the “key” as shown below. Their documentation just lists the other ones but doesnt have any details in documentation. So wondering what the others are meant for and how to use those really.
