How to save an operation in a shared collection in Apollo Studio?

Hello;
How to save an operation in a shared collection in Apollo Studio?

The steps I am taking are:

  1. I have an operation in a tab
  2. In the operation collection section below the bookmark I created my 1st Shared Collection
  3. Then I click Save as and the save operation dialog box pops open
  4. I place a name in the name field
  5. In the save a collection drop down I only see my sandbox collection I don’t see the shared collection (in the video I see there is the shared collection option)

Does anyone know why the shared collection is not showing in the drop down?

Thanks so much for taking the time to give feedback!

We currently have a limitation where while you can load operations from other graphs from sandbox, you can only save into those collections when you’re on that graph (i.e. not from sandbox)

I’ll take this feedback back to the team and reconsider whether it makes sense to allow saving into collections of other graphs from sandbox (would love more thoughts on this if you have them), but in the meantime, you should be able to unblock by saving the operation from the Explorer of that registered graph :slight_smile:
