👋 **Hello Apollo GraphQL Community!**

I’m **Erwan Masson** , a **Senior Mobile Engineer**.

🔨 **Work and GraphQL**

**What’s your role, and what kind of work do you do?**

- My current role involves **developing features for iOS applications**.

**How long have you been working with GraphQL, and how did you get started?**

- I’ve been working with **GraphQL for 2.5 years** , primarily in **iOS development**.

**Have you used Apollo before? If so, what’s your favorite tool or feature?**

- I love Apollo iOS **model generation** , which makes working with GraphQL on iOS so much smoother.

**What’s the most interesting or challenging project you’ve worked on involving GraphQL?**

- **Apollo iOS has been incredibly smooth** and has helped me avoid many challenges, but one of my most interesting experiences with GraphQL was **using mocks in our unit tests**.

🎉 **Fun Stuff**

**What’s a hobby or activity you enjoy outside of work?**

- Outside of work, I enjoy **volunteering** , including **coaching a soccer team at a club and school** , gaming, and watching Netflix.

**If you could have dinner with any fictional character or historical figure, who would it be and why?**

- **Isaac Asimov** , to discuss his **visionary ideas on AI, robotics, and the future (or non-future!) of humanity**.

**What’s your favorite app, game, or piece of tech that you just can’t live without?**

- **Brawl Stars is my favorite game** —because I can play with my kid! My **secondary game is AFK Journey** —I really love the graphics.

**What’s the best thing you’ve watched, read, or listened to lately?**

- Lately, I’ve been fascinated by **AI-driven development** and how tools like **Copilot and ChatGPT** can enhance engineering workflows, especially in **iOS development**.

✨ **Fun Fact**

**Share a fun fact about yourself that might surprise others!**

- I once **created a unit test for a production URL**. A few months later, while reviewing a PR, I missed that a developer had **accidentally modified the URL (due to dyslexia)**—fortunately, my unit test caught the issue before it made it to production!

I’m here to **volunteer, help the community, and contribute to Apollo iOS**. Looking forward to connecting with you all! 🚀
